Gottfried went to live in the place of his birth after his marriage. This is Zell-Weierbach listed also as Weingarten. There son Engelbert was married in 1870 and the entry states his father is dead. No death entry was found. Trudy SChenk's experience in this particular area of Baden is that sometimes an entry can be found in a neighboring village because a priest could have been ill or for some other reason.
