OBITUARY: Services for Flora Anna Lee Paul Houghton, 95, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harvey Douglas Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Wade officiating. Interment will be at Ringling I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Mrs. Houghton was born March 10, 1907, to Fred W. and Parlee Mary Thomas Paul in Sulphur, Murray County, Indian Territory. She died Dec. 22, 2002, in Rowlett, Dallas County, Texas, after a lengthy illness. She married Bennie Ray Houghton on Sept. 2, 1939, in Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1993. A long time resident of Liberty, Texas, she moved to Garland, Texas, in 1995 to be near her family. A graduate of Healdton High School, she also graduated from St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Oklahoma City in 1937. She worked as a registered nurse in several Liberty-area hospitals.She was a member of St. Anthony Nursing School Alumni and long time member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Liberty. Survivors include a sister, Thelma Oleta Paul Yeatts, Garland; two brothers, Alva E. Paul, Blue Eye, Mo., and Fred J. Paul, Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Luther Andrew Paul in 2001, Lee Lawrence Paul in 1913, Fay W.Paul and Carl M. Paul in 1990.
The residence of Major George Washington Lewis in King George County, Virginia was called Marmion.
