BENNY PAUL ANGLEN
Benny Paul Anglen, 70, died thuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at his home. Bright Holland Funeral Home will conduct military graveside services at 2 p.m. Friday, January 5, at Bluff Cemetery near Detroit. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Anglen was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Red River County to Roy and Vivan Mackey Anglen, He was a corporal in the Army during the Korean Conflict and recieved the Purple Heart. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the Fartenal Order of Eagles. He retired from Consumer's Gas Co. in Fenton, Mich., after 34 years of service to the company and moved to Paris in 1993.
Surviving are his daughter, Lynda Kay Carlson, of Flint; two grandchildren, Joelle and Bobby Green, three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marlynn Barnes, Ginger Rater, and Shelia Icenhower, all of Paris; three brothers, Bill Miller and Dicky Miller, both of Paris, and Sam Miller of Wills Point; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was precded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Jim Curtis Miller
BOGATA ----- Jim Curtis Miller, 59, of Bogata died Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997, in St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Paris. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 8, in Bogata Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller was born June 26, 1938 in Bagwell, a son of Randolph "Hank" and Vivian McKey Miller. He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include his friend Jewell Harper of Bogata; two daughters, Sandra Kay Garrison of Paris and Cynthia Jean Hargis of Harlingen; three sisters, Shella Icenhower, Ginger Rater and Marlynn Barnes, all of Paris; four brothers, Bill and Dicky Miller, both of paris, Sam Miller of Lake Tawakoni and Paul Anglen of Paris, and four grandchildren.
