   CHARLES ELMER PAUL
   HEALDTON - Funeral Services for Charles Elmer Paul, 80, 521 W. Texas Ave. Healdton, will be held in the Bettes Funeral Chapel with the Ref. Clifton Fish officiating at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery.
   Paul was born in Missouri on April 16, 1883, and had lived most of his life in Carter County. A retired pumper with the Texas Gulf Oil Co. Paul was married to Laura Walker in 1914 at Lexington, Oklahoma.  Survivors include his wife, Laura, of the home; a borther, Fred of Ringling, and three sisters, Cora Pledger, Lindsay; Nellie Bailey, Rush Springs; and Emma Sessom, River Bank, Calif.

   LAURA B. PAUL
   HEALDTON - Graveside services for Laura B. Paul will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1982, in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Adcock, Assembly of God Church, officiating.
   Mrs. Paul was born Feb. 13, 1895, in Davis, and died Sunday in a Tuttle nursing home following an extended illiness.   She had lived in the Wirt-Healdton area most of her life before moving to     the Oklahoma City area in 1975. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, and an adopted son, Buster.    Survivors include two borthers, Jeff (Bud) Walker, Corpus Christi, Texas,  Bryant Walker, Oklahoma City; and a sister Aline Johnston, also Oklahoma City.  Reser Funeral Home will direct services.


Ray Buster Satterfield Paul

Gravestone says Roy, all military records list him as Ray. Buster was adopted from the Orphanage at Cornish, Jefferson Co, Oklahoma. His real name is Satterfield according to my aunt, Lille Mae Harris Floyd, who was also at the Cornish orphanage.    RAY BUSTER PAUL, Private, U. S. Army. Home address: Wirt, Carter County. Mrs. Laura Paul, Mother, Wirt. Born January 10, 1923. Enlisted January 5, 1943. Died November 20, 1943, in machine gun fire invasion of Makin Island, Gilbert Islands.


Nellie Alice Paul

OBITUARY:  Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Alice Bailey were held Monday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Rush Springs. Rev. J. R. Earls, pastor of the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, officiated.
   Mrs. Bailey, 88, was born on June 1, 1889 in Hot Springs, Ark., and died Dec 16th in Houston, TX.  She had lived most of her life in Rush Springs and only moved to Houston four years ago. She was married to William Arley Bailey on Sept 15, 1907, in Ione. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1962.  Burial was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.  Pallbearers were Gene Bratcher, Ernest Williams, Chuck Revels, Wayne Sluder, O. Z. Blay and Roy Seymour.
   Survivors include five sons, Sylvester and Lloyd, both of Houston, Virgil of Rush Springs, Budy of Ceres, CA, and Gerold of Longview, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Maymie Tabler and Mrs. Bobby Keith, Houston, Mrs. Cleda Hargett of Gustine, Calif, Mrs. Juanita Bowden of Stockton, Calif, and Mrs Ina Jeremiah of Kyburz, Calif; one sister, Mrs. Emma Sessums of Burbank, Calif.


Alford M. Pledger

   PLEDGER Alfred M, age 90, passed away Sunday in OKC. He was retired from the  Cities Service Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae. He is survived by 3 daughters, Lavone and her husband, Bob McKillips of OKC, Billie R. McDonald of Midwest City, and Cora Lee Burroughts of Memphis, TN; a sister Emma Barnard of Ca; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be 12 noon Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel South.
