Notes

Elmer Ellsworth Bartlett

RESEARCHER: Information sent to T.Mason on 4 Jan 2005 by Steve Treanor [stevetrea@sbcglobal.net]. "In the January 8, 1880 school house tragedy Elmer was horribly mutilated and had about 25 square inches of scalp torn off.  He walked home and his father John Wesley Bartlett sewed the scalp back on to its proper place. By 1900 Elmer is married and living in Idaho where he is a quartz gold miner.  He seems to have had three children two boys and a girl.  It appears as if the girl has died before reaching her 10th birthday.   Elmer was still in Idaho mining by the 1910 Census but in 1920 he is reported in Butte Montana as a copper miner."

Robert E. Bartlett

The 1920 census lists him as a commercial salesman.
