She was raised by Maggie's sister, Ella Cooper, and her husband, John Cooper. Ella had been named after her Aunt Ella. Harold went with his dad. Ella told her daughter, Cecilia, that Harold was not raised by the Cooper's and that she seldom saw her dad."
