OBITUARY: MRS. SHADIE BREWTON Woodruff. July 25 - Mrs. Shadie Evins Brewton 70, widow of Jones H. Brewton, died this afternoon at the home of her nephew, E. V.  Lanford, at Mint Hill, N. C., after I several months of declining health.
  Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p. m.. at the First Baptist church of Woodruff, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Simpson, pasator. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
  Pallbearers will be. D. B. Irby, L. G. Lanford, A. M. Leatherwood, A. J. Cox, Wallace Alexander and Frank McCord.
  Mrs. Brewton was the daughter of the late Isaac Evins and Pernelia Waters Evins. In early chlldhood her father moved to Rome, Ga., and Mrs. Brewton was educated at Hearns school, Cave Springs, Ga.
  She had been a member of the Baptist church since early childhood.
  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. R. V. Lanford, Woodruff, and a number of nieces and  nephews.
