"My grandmother, the wife of Dr. Charles Magill Fauntleroy (my grandfather) had the maiden name of Alma Margaret Johnston. Her mother was Bertha May Grush. Also, the name Johnston has a "t" in it. I know this for certain because I am in possession of a history of the Johnston family, which arrived in Philadelphia from Melrose, Scotland, in 1828, and proceeded to California, where they established a lumber mill in Half Moon Bay."
