WILL: 3470 M. Monmouth 1802. E___ & probated 3 April 1802. Recorded in Liber __3q of Wills, Roll 513. "In the Name of God Amen. I Francis Borden of Allen Town In the County of Monmouth, being in a declining State of health but of Sound Disposing mind and memory, and Takeing into Consideration the uncertainty of Life and the Ceertainty of death do make and ordain this my last will and Testament. In maner following, First and principally I commend my Soul to God who gave it, & my body I commit to the earth to be decently Intered at the discretion of my Executor herein after named & as to such worldly estate as God of his goodness has bestowed upon me I give and Dispose thereof in manner Following, that is to say, I give unto my Wife Solous Borden the Bed and Beding & Case of draws She brought me, with Fifty pounds in money to be paid her by my Executor in one year after my disceace. Item I give to my Daughter Betsy Borden, one bed and Furniture one dining & Tea Table. Seale skin YTrunk with twenty finve pounds in cash to be paid by my Executor in one year after my discease.
Item my will also is that my Executor pay to my Son William Borden in one after my discease the sum of Fifteen pounds and to my sons Samuel, & Morriss Johnson Woolly Borden, the sum fo fifty pounds each when they arrive to the age of twenty one years, & that my Execurs put them out to Such trades as they shall tink proper,
Item my will also is and do hereby authorise & Impower my Executors as Soon as may be after my Siscease, to dispose of my whole Estate at Publick Sale, both Real and Personal (Except as above bequethed) and the moneys Arrissing after paying as heretofore bequthed & all my Just Debtss and Funeral Expenses, To be devided amongnst my Wife and all my Children To wit. Item my will is that if any of my Children Shall die before they arrive to the age of twenty one years there proportion be devided amoungst the Survivers in the Manner aforesaid, and if any Should die Leaving Issue, before their Proportion becomes due the Same be devided between Such Issue in manner above mentioned -

WILL: Superior Court of N.J., Office of the Clerk, Trenton, N.J. August 7, 1964. Will drawn August 18, 1815, proved October 17, 1823. "In the name of God Amen, I Susannah Borden of the County of Salem and Township of Mannington West New Jersey, being in a poor State of health, but of Sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding, Considering the Certainty of death, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs, and thereby be the better prepared to leave this World when it shall pleas God to call me hence, I do therefore make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following; that is to say, First and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the Earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors herein After Named, and after my debts and funeral charges are paid, I Devise and bequeath as follows,
Item, I give and bequeath, to my Eldest Daughter Patience Lloyd the sum of fifty Dollars to be left in the Hands of Obadiah Robins to be given her at his discretion when he thinks she stands in real need.
Item, I Give and bequeath to my Second Daughter Ann Hance the sum of one Dollar.
I Give and bequeath to my Third Daughter Lydia Woolley the Sum of Fifty Dollars to be paid by my Executors into the hands of Pbadiah Robins to be given to her at his discretion when he thinks She stands in Real Need.
Item, I Give and bequeath to my fourth Daughter Ruth Tiler, the Sum of One Dollar.
Item, I Give and Bequeathe all the rest and Residue of my Estate be the Same more or less, (Excepting Six Silver Teaspoons to be given to my Grand Daughter Susannah Woolley, Six Silver Tea Spoons to be given to my Grand Daughter Susannah Lloyd, Six Silver Tea Spoons to be given my Grand Daughter Susannah Hance) to be equally Devided Amongs and between my Three Sons Asher, James and John Borden in equal proportion, Share, and Share alike and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my Sons Asher and James Borden to be sol Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking and Annulling all former Wills by me heretofor, made rattifying this and none Other to be my last will and testament, In testimony Whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Affixed my Seal this Eighteenth Day of August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifteen."

Benjamin Archer one of the witnesses to the within Will being duly affirmed according to law did declare and say that he saw Susannah Borden the testatrix therein named Sign and seal the same and heard her publicle pronounce and declare the within writing to be her last Will and testament and that at the doing there of the testatrix was of sound and disposing mind and memory as far as this affirmant knows and as he verilly believes, and that Nathaniel Robins the other subscribing evidence was present at the same time and signed his name as a witness to the said Will together with this affirmant in the presence of the testatrix. Asher Borden surviving executor in the within testament Named being duly affirmed according to law did declare and say that the within writing contains the true last Will and testament of Susannah Borden the testatrix therein named so far as he knows and as he verilly believes, that he will well and duly perform the same by paying first the debts of the said deceased, and then the Legacies in the said testament specified so far as the goods, chattels and credits of said deceased can thereunto extend, that he will make and exhibit into the surrogate's office at Salem a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods, chatteli and credits of said deceased as far as have come to his knowledge or possession or to the possession of any other person or persons for his use and render a just and true account when thereunto lawfully required.
