2269. William Robert Neeley
1Joyce M. Stover, Roots and Branches Article (Cumberland County News; Burkesville, Kentucky).
"In a letter to Joyce Stover date February 14, 1997, the late Ray Logan stated of William R. "Bill" Neeley: "After 10 children by his wife Lucy Taylor, he ran her off. She went across the river to live with some Bows and Bill built a new home on Raft Creek for a new wife, Mary Susan ________. I've slept several nights in the new house. Bill died in 1906 and Aunt Ann and husband John A. Neeley moved into the house. The house still stands but I think the present owners are doing nothing to save or improve the house. The present owners of the home and a lot of the farmland is Norma Jean and Preston Riddle. Norma Jean is a daughter of Walter Neeley and wife Anna Frances Bow, daughter of Curtis Bow and Edna Olivia Campbell. So the Neeleys and the Bows still get together some of the time."."
